Fairtrade demand increases in Cork


The hard work of Fairtrade Town volunteers really does make a difference. Cafes, pubs, and shops are now regularly taking the initiative to switch to Fairtrade. In the last 48 hours, 5 Cork businesses have contacted Kinsale Distribution Co asking to open accounts. Sarah Fleming at Colaiste Raithin in Bray Co. Wicklow is a great example also of teams of students working in schools. They are holding a Fairtrade awareness day on April 18th. We wish them the best !
